From leisurely forest walks to summit climbs, the most beautiful hiking routes and mountain tours await you around Hotel Persal! 350 km of marked hiking trails lead to rustic hill farms or into the Zillertal Alps High Mountain Nature Park. The crystal-clear mountain lakes and Hintertux Glacier with its year-round skiing area provide cool refreshment on hot summer days!
Gondola experience in summer
If you would like to start your journey up the mountain more comfortably, the 10 Zillertal lifts will take you to the perfect starting point for your high-altitude hikes.
Finkenberger Almbahnen
Located only a few meters from Hotel Persal, the Finkenberger Almbahnen will take you up the 1,760-meter-high Penkenjoch, where the most beautiful hikes start.
The Penkenpepi, an 8-meter-high wooden bear and mascot, welcomes children to its mountain playground with sand play area and inflatable jump bag. We recommend hiking on the loop trail around the reservoir with a visit to the Capella Granata.
The free hiking bus stops right at the hotel and will comfortably take you to the hiking routes in the region!
